i.e. ADDIE: (Fif)11/16: The surname Addie of Fife will be found in SL11 page 16.

ALLAN: (Ork)23/25&24/22. The surname Allan from Orkney will be found in SL23 pg 25, & also SL24 pg 22.

ANDERSON: (Edin)22/16x2. There will be two references to Anderson of Edinburgh in SL22 page 16. If no county is shown in the Index, there is no mention of the county in the issue. i.e. ASH: 10/22; 13/15
